When I read this book on the train, this man kept talking to me and asking what it was about. I finally replied “religion and secularism in American government” but that was kind of a lie, because I didn’t want to get “into it” with a strange dude on the train who might get mad and preachy about the fact that I was reading atheistic propaganda. But this book is very short and very good- Harris is a really good explainer and his examples are always powerful, his hypotheticals always moving and his tone always condescending. This book definitely helped me store up more arguments for secular government debates.
