Well, a book about making books. I just read Indie Publishing: How to Design and Produce Your Own Book, which my boyfriend bought for me. I found it useful and informative- as well as well made and artsy looking. The colors, layouts and creativity of the book served as an example for readers… There were sections about DIY bindings, selling your book, editing, print it yourself services and pretty much everything you’d need to do to self-publish. I plan on practicing a lot of the binding techniques; but they all looked pretty easy and they all looked really nice. This book made me excited (rather than intimidated!) to start self publishing!
